It is time to renew your GBAA membership for 2010. The GBAA is proud to have celebrated its 10th anniversary and of what it has accomplished on behalf of its members:
- Became a 501(c)(3) organization this year allowing tax deductible sponsorships and scholarship donations.
- Held an Operations Benchmarking - Flight, Operations, Safety and Maintenance Event in April of this year.
- The GBAA awarded $29,000 in scholarships in 2009. Since 2004, the GBAA has awarded $121,000 in scholarship money to forty seven Georgia students and aviation professionals.
- Our annual Members Meeting and Golf Tournament at Stone Mountain Evergreen Resort saw 160 members enjoy a day of golfing and then dinner with our guest speaker Captain Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon.
- Hosted a Cabin Communications and Entertainment Information Session including a Static Display in June.
- Our annual Safety Day was NBAA CAM certified and had record attendance this year!
- Held an IA Renewal Training Class in conjunction with Dallas Airmotive in November.
The GBAA is a non-profit organization made up of local volunteers who work in the industry everyday. We collect small annual dues to assist in the facilitation of our scholarship program as well as these various educational seminars and workshops throughout the year. Attendance for many of our events was offered free to members which we would like to see continue in 2010. We appreciated your participiation and hope that you will help us keep this momentum alive. The annual dues of $200.00 for Corporate members and $100.00 for individual members are exceptional bargains and have remained the same price since 2006. While we understand everyone's budget concerns, the upcoming value is easily realized.

While other organizations best address the national concerns, the Georgia Business Aviation Association exists to support your needs in Georgia.
