Projects
-Commission for a new Georgia - Governor Sonny Perdue established the Commission for a New Georgia to be a private-sector partner in his mission to upgrade the operating performance of the ninth largest state, so the "workings" of the government work better. The GBAA was represented by David Small, Chairman who worked on the Aviation Task force for over three months.
- Work with Fulton County Airport (FTY) to address animal
control issues around the field.
- Formulating a government/association outreach program
to enhance GBAA's knowledge base and voice in these arenas.
- Benchmarking with other industry organizations such
as the Georgia
Airports Association (GAA).
