11/13/07 - Welcome Jim Amador
The GBAA welcomes Jim Amador to the board. Jim Amador is the Southeast Region Sales Director for Bombardier Learjet.

9/23/07 - The Margaret Fain Elementary School playground build was a success. Over 400 people joined in to build the playground. A second park site at Fulton County Airport was also built on the same day. Thanks to all who helped!

8/23/07 - GBAA Safety Day Attracts over 100
Over 100 attendees participated in this year's Safety Day. They were inspired to be safer by numerous presenters on various topics. More importantly, the attendees were given many tools to put to work in their operations. Learn more about these presentations and tools!

8/1/07 - Town Hall Meeting Answers Many Questions
Many operators and airport representatives meet with GBAA, NBAA and FAA to discuss the upcoming NBAA Convention and Static Display. Many questions were answered and new issues raised. Watch here for more information about what was covered.

7/7/07 - GBAA to Host Town Hall Meeting
Notice to operators: how will the NBAA Convention affect the Atlanta airspace and local airports?  As the rest of the industry descends upon Atlanta, how will your operation be effected?  If you have destinations anywhere in the Atlanta area these are important questions.  GBAA invites you to attend a Town Hall meeting along with representatives from NBAA and FAA.  9:30AM, July 31 at the Home Depot hangar (FTY). 6/13/07 - New Board Members Announced!
GBAA is pleased to announce the election of two new Board of Directors. Congratulations to Chris Ison with O'Gara Aviation and Ted Hutcheson with St. Simons Management and Flight Operations. Each has been involved with GBAA on a volunteer basis for years. The both look forward to stepping into a formal leadership role and helping GBAA's continued success. They fill the positions vacated by Bill Shaw of BellSouth and Johnny Foster with O'Gara Aviation. GBAA and its membership extend our gratitude for their hard work!

5/17/07 - GBAA Announces 2007 Safety Day

5/4/07 - 8th Annual Member Meeting & Golf Classic Wrap-Up
Nearly 200 friends and colleagues enjoyed a wonderful of golf and networking as they attended the GBAA's 8th Annual Golf Classic. Over $9,000 was raised for future scholarships and much fun was had by all. Please see for yourself!

5/4/07 - $33,000 in Scholarships Awarded to 11 Recepients
GBAA was honored to award numerous scholarships at its 8th Annual Members Meeting. The ever-growing scholarship program was expanded to include existing business aviation professionals. Meet our winners!

5/4/07 - GBAA Welcomes Kevin Rodgers as Newest Board Member
At this year's members meeting, Kevin Rodgers with Jet Aviation was elected as the newest member of the GBAA Board. Kevin has been volunteering with the Board for over a year and has proven to be a great asset to the membership. Kevin fills the position vacated by Bruce Egart. GBAA wishes to thank Bruce for his hard work during his tenure!

3/1/07 - Registration Now Open for GBAA Golf Classic
GBAA is proud to announce details for its annual golf classic. This year's event will be held at Stone Mountain Golf Resort on Friday, May 4. As always, it is guaranteed to be a great day. Learn more and register early for this day of fun.

2/13/07 - FAA and NBAA Present to GBAA Membership
Many local area operators attended the latest ATC Luncheon on February 13. Sue Ashely of NBAA's GA Desk provided important information about resources available to operators. FAA Leadership provided important information about Southeast airspace policies and procedures. If you missed it, additional information can be found on NBAA's website and the FAA website.

1/3/07 - GBAA Announces Over $33,000 in Scholarships in 2007!!!
GBAA's scholarship program takes another leap forward in promoting career development for aviation professionals. In May 2007, a total of twelve scholarships will be awarded.
